CURRENT NATIONAL COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS AND REGULATIONS

do i need to have a pcr test to enter the country?

All persons who are allowed to enter the territory of Bulgaria according to the order are obliged to provide a negative result from a PCR test for coronavirus, made not earlier than 72 hours before arrival or a certificate for full vaccination.

Bulgarian citizens and those with the status of permanent, or long-term residence in the country, who do not provide a document for a negative PCR test, are placed under a 10-day quarantine. There is a possibility to reduce the quarantine when providing a negative PCR test, made within 24 hours of entering the country.

are restaurants, bars, clubs, cultural sites in the country open?

The current regulations in the country are as follows:

Restaurants and Cafés are currently open. 

Night Clubs and Bars are currently open.

Theaters, Galleries, and Museums are currently open and operating at a reduced capacity.

The cinemas are currently open and operating at a reduced capacity.

DO YOU PROVIDE ASSISTANCE WITH PCR TESTING?

Yes, we do! If you need assistance with PCR testing we can assist you by organizing it directly in the hotel and then delivering the results back to you. The test is made by "Genica Lab" - an authorized laboratory that we are working with.

do you have a covid-19 safety policy in the hotel?

Yes, we have implemented the Government recommendations on how to deal with Covid-19. We have also gone a few steps further, to make you feel comfortable, relaxed, and safe. Check out details about our Millennium Prime policy here.

are the restaurants, bars, spa centre and gym in the hotel open?

Millennium Spa & Wellness Centre is currently open and operating as usual.

Premium Fitness Flais Millennium is currently open and operating as usual.

Mediterra Restaurant & Winebar is currently open every day from 11:00h until 23:00h.

Ozone Skybar & Lounge is currently open every day from 11:00h until 02:00h

Urban Garden Cafe is currently open every day from 09:00h until 20:00h.

Vienna Cafe & Restaurant is currently open every day from 11:00h until 23:00h.

Reservations

What is your children policy?

Children up to 11.99 years can stay in their parents’ room on a complimentary basis sharing the existing bedding. If you’re traveling with older kids, our interconnecting rooms are a great way to enjoy privacy and space but still stay close to each other. Complimentary baby cots are available on request.

Are pets allowed to stay at the hotel?

We know that pets are part of the family. We happily welcome pets of small and medium breeds(up to 10kg). An additional cleaning fee of 50 Euro per night is charged. Please note that pets are not allowed in our dining outlets unless they are service animals or in a carrying bag.

Do you have parking at the hotel?

Yes, indoor self-park and valet services are available on -3 and -2 Parking Levels. Charges apply hourly. Guests of the hotel can take advantage of special preferential rates.

Do you have accessible rooms?

Yes, we have rooms with full accessibility for people with reduced mobility. The whole property is also fully accessible.

Can I make a specific requirement (room number, floor etc.)?

Specific requirements for room number and/or floor cannot be guaranteed but we will be happy to know about your preferences in advance and we will do our best to accommodate all requests you might have.

I booked on a website other than the hotel website and I need to make a change to my reservation. How do I do this?

You will need to contact our partner website with which you have made the reservation. If you are not able to find the contact details, please call us and we will assist you.

Is the rate the same for booking online as calling the Reservation team?

Yes, we guarantee the lowest rates available. Should you find our rooms with the same conditions at a lower rate on the Internet just inform us and we will match the difference between our rate and the lower rate.

Arrival & Check-in

How do I get to the hotel?

Please see our Location page. Please contact our Concierge team at concierge@ghms.bg and they will be happy to provide you with specific directions or arrange a private or a shuttle airport transportation for you.

What is the minimum age requirement to check into the room?

The minimum age requirement to reserve a hotel room is 18.

What is check-in time?

Our check-in time is 3:00 pm.

Can I enter my room before check-in time (3:00 pm)?

We will do our utmost to accommodate you as early as possible. However, if the room is not ready upon your arrival our Concierge team will be more than happy to assist you with your luggage while you are exploring Sofia or resting in one of our outlets.

I will arrive very late to the hotel, will there be a problem to check-in late?

Our Reception desk is at your service around the clock.

Is my ID/passport required at check in?

Yes, a valid government issued picture ID or passport is required for hotel check-in.

Do you request deposit?

When checking in you will be kindly asked to provide a guarantee for accidental charges and additional services during your stay with the amount of 25 euro per room, per day or 50 euro per suite, per day.  A guarantee could be provided both in cash or with credit card pre-authorization.

Where is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served in  M Restaurant located on the 3rd floor.

At what time is breakfast served?

Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 10:00am. Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am to 10:30 am.

Do you allow smoking in the rooms?

The whole property is non-smoking. Smoking is permitted in front of the hotel and on the terraces of our dining outlets. A penalty fee of 200 Euro is applied for smoking in the room.

Do you have room service?

Yes - room service is available from 06:00 am until 12:00 midnight. The menu is available on the TV in your hotel room.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes, we do and it’s free within the hotel and in your room.

Is there an iron and ironing board in the room?

An ironing station can be brought to your room upon request. Alternatively, our laundry department is there for you from 07:30 am until 08:00 pm.

Are parties allowed in the hotel rooms or suites?

Parties are not allowed in the hotel rooms and suites in order to ensure the peaceful stay of our guests.

is filming and photo shooting allowed in the hotel?

Not Allowed

  • Commercial photography or video shoot is not permitted at Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia without express written permission from the hotel management.
  • Our first priority is the experience of our guests so we have a strict policy against the use of any of our facilities for unauthorized professional or commercial photography or videography ( including pre-nuptial shoots – unless it’s part of a wedding package with us, engagement shoots, advertising shoots, model/fashion shoots/ filming and etc.).

Allowed

  • Guests may shoot non-commercial photography or video for their own personal use ( with no professional equipment, lighting, etc.) in their room or on the property but must respect the privacy and well-being of other guests in the area.
  • Professional photography/videography will only be allowed if the Management has given their permission before the shoot. All photography/ videography requests will be reviewed and approved based on occupancy, availability, and content.

Kindly note that unauthorized professional photographers/videographers who are not guests of the hotel will be asked to leave the hotel property immediately.

Requests to use any area of the hotel as a location for commercial photo-shoots or filming as well as special occasion/ wedding shoots should be directed to the Marketing Department. These photo/ video shoots are subjected to fees and a strict schedule which must be approved by management. Do you have a SPA and a swimming pool?

Yes, our Millennium Spa & Wellness Centre is offering 3 200 sq.m unparalleled Spa & Wellness area with panoramic swimming pool, thermal area, treatment rooms and SPA Suites. 

Do you have a gym?

Yes - there is a gym available for use on the 1st Floor and it is complimentary for hotel guests.

What is check-out time?

Check-out time is 12:00 noon.

Can I stay in my room after check-out time (12:00 noon)?

Should you wish to stay longer with us contact our Reservations or Front Office team. Late check-out is subject to an additional surcharge and it depends on check-out time, rate policy, and room availability.

Is it possible to pay via bank or with credit card?

Yes, we accept payments with all major bank and credit cards.

Can I pay in Euro?

Yes, cash payments are accepted in both Bulgarian Lev and Euro only at the Reception desk. At the other hotel outlets cash payments are accepted only in Bulgarian Lev.

I need an invoice for my stay. What should I do?

Please inform our Reception Team about the information you need on your invoice.

After your stay

I lost my invoice. How can I get a copy?

Please contact our Front office team at reception@ghms.bg and they will assist you.
