All visitors must register at the reception desk by presenting a valid form of identification (ID card or passport). Please note that the hotel is not liable for any incidents or violations involving unregistered visitors.
We are delighted to welcome guests traveling with pets! Please inform us at least 24 hours prior to arrival if you plan to bring your pet. To ensure the comfort and safety of all guests, pets are not allowed in the hotel's public areas, including restaurants, bars, the spa and wellness center, and conference rooms. Passing through these areas is permitted only when entering or exiting your room. An additional fee of €50 / BGN 97.79 per day applies for each pet. Please note that we only accept small to medium-sized breeds (up to 10 kg), which must be always accompanied and kept on a leash or in a carrier bag/box.
For the comfort and health of all our guests, the entire building of Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia, including guest rooms and suites, is a non-smoking area. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this policy. Please note that in case of violation, we reserve the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of €200 / BGN 391.17. If you wish to smoke, you may do so on designated terraces at some of our dining venues, as well as in the smoking area located in front of the hotel’s main entrance.

These items may cause adverse reactions or pose safety risks, and their use is considered a violation of our non-smoking policy. In case of violation, a minimum cleaning fee of €200 / BGN 391.17 will be charged. In certain cases, the guest may be asked to leave the hotel without reimbursement for any prepaid amounts.
The safety of our guests, team, and hotel premises is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, cooking in guest rooms using any type of appliance is strictly prohibited. This includes: hot plates, toaster ovens, water heaters, rice cookers, barbecues, burners, space heaters, and any devices with open flames or flammable substances. Additionally, the use of fireworks, smoke effects, pyrotechnics, or any other flammable items is not allowed in any part of the hotel—including rooms, balconies, terraces, event spaces, and common areas. In case of violation, a minimum fee of €200 / BGN 391.17 will be charged. If hotel property is damaged, the guest will be held responsible for the full cost of the damages. If you need a room for just a few hours during the day, we offer a convenient day-use option. These bookings are valid between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM, and guests may check in at any time within this time frame. Please ensure the room is vacated no later than 7:00 PM. The rate for day use is based on our dynamic pricing system, which reflects real-time demand and availability. Closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras monitor the hotel premises. All footage is recorded, stored digitally, and reviewed as needed. Video surveillance is conducted to ensure the safety of guests, their belongings, and hotel property. By signing the registration card upon check-in, guests acknowledge and agree to the use of CCTV systems throughout the hotel premises (excluding guest rooms).
To ensure the safety and peace of mind of all guests and staff, the possession of firearms, ammunition, knives, or any other dangerous items is strictly prohibited on hotel premises. This policy applies to all types of weapons, including handguns, long-barreled firearms, and other self-defense tools. Guests who do not comply with this policy will be asked to leave the hotel, and we reserve the right to deny any refund for prepaid amounts.
We offer luggage storage in a designated area, subject to availability and occupancy levels. Please note that storage is at the guest’s own risk, and the hotel is not liable for any loss or damage, regardless of the cause. Luggage may be stored for up to 30 days, and the hotel reserves the right to decline storage under certain circumstances. This service is available only to guests with a confirmed reservation or those who have already checked out. For your convenience, each room is equipped with a safe where you can store personal belongings and valuables. Please use the safe to store cash, jewelry, documents, securities, and other valuable items. The hotel is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings that are not stored and locked in the safe provided.
If we find any forgotten items, we will contact their owner as soon as possible, provided we are able to identify them. All the items found are stored at the hotel for up to 3 months from the date they are discovered. Please note that items posing a hygiene risk to guests or staff (such as hazardous objects, food, beverages, etc.) may be discarded earlier. After the storage period expires, if the owner cannot be located, the hotel reserves the right to use, dispose of, or destroy the items at its discretion.
To ensure the safety and comfort of all guests and staff, bringing in or storing dangerous, flammable, or prohibited items on hotel premises is strictly forbidden. This includes, but is not limited to:
Gambling activities outside the licensed casino, as well as prostitution, are strictly prohibited. Guests are fully responsible for any financial or other damage caused by the possession or use of such items, as well as for failure to comply with hotel instructions.
We kindly ask all guests to treat hotel property with care. In the event of loss or damage caused by the guest, their visitors, or individuals for whom they are responsible, the guest will be held liable for covering the cost of the damage. If, upon check-out, the room is found to be excessively dirty, disordered, or damaged in a way that requires special cleaning, a deep cleaning fee of at least €200 / BGN 391.17 will be charged. If external services are required, additional charges may apply based on the actual cost of restoration.
We expect all guests to behave respectfully and responsibly during their stay, to follow hotel rules, and to avoid causing discomfort to other guests or staff. Management reserves the right to request that a guest vacate their room or leave the hotel premises immediately, without prior notice and without obligation to provide a reason, if the guest’s behavior disrupts internal order or poses a risk to others. In case of refusal to leave, management has the right to arrange the removal of the guest’s personal belongings from the room. If the situation escalates, assistance from law enforcement may be sought.
Photos and videos taken within the hotel are welcome for personal use and memories. Please note that their use for commercial, promotional, or public purposes is not permitted unless prior approval has been granted by hotel management. If you feel unwell or experience symptoms of illness during your stay, please notify Reception immediately. If necessary, you may be advised to seek medical assistance from a nearby healthcare facility. In the event of epidemics or public health emergencies, the hotel may implement precautionary measures in accordance with internal policies or the directives of local authorities. The fire safety systems in the hotel are designed to protect all guests and staff in the event of a real emergency. Improper activation of the fire alarm or sprinkler system—whether intentional, accidental, or as a prank—poses a serious risk, disrupts guest comfort, and may lead to unnecessary evacuation and emergency response. All vehicles must be declared at the time of registration. Parking on hotel premises is at the owner's own risk. The hotel is not responsible for any damage, loss, or incidents involving vehicles, passengers, or contents. If a vehicle remains in the parking area after the guest has checked out and without written consent from the hotel, the hotel reserves the right to remove it at the owner's expense. Vehicle repairs are not permitted on hotel property.
To ensure a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere for all guests, Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia does not allow parties to be held in guest rooms. Loud noise, gatherings, and unauthorized visitors are not tolerated. In case of a violation, a polite request to reduce the noise will be made. If not respected, the guest will be asked to leave the hotel without refund. Registered guests are responsible for the behavior of their visitors. If the number of people in the room after hours exceeds the number listed on the registration form, the stay will be considered an unauthorized party. In such cases, the guest will be asked to leave the hotel. The guest may be added to a list of unwelcome visitors, and authorities may be notified if necessary. For serious violations, a fee of €250 / BGN 488.96 may be charged. To ensure the comfort of all guests, the hotel enforces a quiet hours policy between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Please avoid gatherings in hallways and public areas that may disturb other guests. Any complaints resulting in compensation to other guests will be charged to the room from which the noise originated.
The hotel is not responsible for the quality, proper storage, or suitability for consumption of food and beverages brought in from external sources by guests. Additionally, the hotel does not provide complimentary dishes or utensils for the consumption of such items. If a guest wishes to receive dishes or utensils, the hotel reserves the right to apply the officially published fee for the provision and delivery of the requested items to the room.
