How far in advance should I make a reservation for my wedding?

As soon, as possible. Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia is one of the most preferred wedding venues and often fills the most popular wedding dates. A year in advance is usually enough time to book and plan every little detail. For other dates, bookings are available with less notice. We advise you to contact us to check available dates.

Is there something I need to know before contacting the hotel?

In order to offer you the best venue and packages that will suit your taste, you need to know the estimated number of guests, preferred date, and estimated budget. You can have an additional option on your mind, in case your first choice is not available.

What size weddings can be hosted at Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia?

We have a set of 14 multifunctional event rooms on 3 floors for the different size events. Whether you prefer a smaller wedding or a big lavish ceremony we will offer you the best option. Our biggest hall - Millennium Grand Ballroom can host up to 350 people.

What is the estimated cost per person and what is included?

Our packages are customized to suit your budget. It does depend on the number of attendees, your décor preferences, and food and beverage services. Our wedding packages start from €63 per person. What are the rates for different days of the week and times? What about different seasons?

We do understand how important your wedding is for you no matter during spring or summer, thus we have seasonal special wedding packages. They are dependable on the seasons, the days of the week, and many more.

Do you offer a discounted room rate for my guests who wish to stay at the hotel?

Yes, we do. This rate depends on the number of guests that want to stay with us and the period of stay. Our team will be happy to offer you the most preferential rates upon request.

Tips&tricкs: The more rooms, the better the price! We will offer preferential rates for the accommodation of your guests to spend a night to remember, to relax the day after the late celebration in our spa center, or just have a lazy day off away from home.

Venue Specifics

How Much Time Do You Have the Space For?

The time included in the price is 5 hours.

Is There a Curfew?

We provide the hall (the restaurant) for 5 hours, then we charge overtime. The end time of the event can be extended till 3 AM.

Tips&tricкs: You can extend this special moment even more with a bridal ceremony and a welcome drink before the wedding gala.

Are There Décor Restrictions?

There are no décor restrictions. It is not permitted to make holes in the floor or to damage the interior.

Tips&tricкs: You can rely on us about arranging it, following your requirements to avoid any stressful coordination on the day itself.

Is Outside Catering Allowed?

It is permitted only to provide wine and alcoholic drinks. We can propose to you a list with preferential prices by our supplier. The accruals are based on the actual consumption of an open bottle. You have the option to bring a cake for a fee.

Is the Venue Handicap Accessible?

Yes, Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia is accessible for all social groups everywhere.

Will There Be Parking Fees?

The hotel provides a free stay for the newlyweds and all other guests are charged BGN 4 per hour or BGN 40 per 24 hours.

Tips&tricкs: The area around Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia is free of charge for parking after 19:30h Monday to Saturday and all day on Sundays  (green zone).

When Is a Menu Tasting Done?

With our help, the tasting of the wedding menu has to be done at the latest 14 days before your date of celebration.

Tips&tricкs: If you expect guests from abroad don’t miss to offer them Bulgarian traditional dishes with dine fine presentation.

Of course, we are open to welcoming outside DJs, decoration teams, kids' entertainment, etc. However, only outside Food & Beverage is not allowed, due to guests’ safety.

For how long can I use the bridal ceremony hall and what is included in the rent price?

The bridal ceremony hall is usually provided for 2 hours minimum. The hall will be set up for the desired amount of people, as well as the main table being positioned for the signing.

Deposit, Payment & Cancellation Policy

Is there a deposits schedule and when are the prepayments due?

For your convenience, we have separated the deposit payment schedule into several phases according to the time between the date of confirmation and the big day itself.

When we should put deposit down to reserve our date?

The first deposit payment should be put down upon confirmation of the wedding.

When is the last possible date to make changes to our reservation?

All finalized details, as well as the final number of guests, must be confirmed no later than 10 days before the date of the wedding.

Tips&tricкs: Don’t forget to ask your guests for confirmation (rsvp: in the wedding invitations) at the latest 1 month before the wedding date in order to get ready and to avoid last-minute stressful changes.

What is the cancellation policy?

In case of force majeure circumstanсes, we offer you the opportunity to choose another suitable date for your wedding in a future period, kindly providing you the same agreement conditions as initially negotiated.
